Magnitude 4.9 earthquake hits Kyrgyzstan
Network of seismological stations in Kazakhstan recorded an earthquake of magnitude 4.9 in Kyrgyzstan on Saturday. TASS reports with reference to the seismological experimental and methodological expedition of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan.
The earth shock was registered at 7.13 (4.13 Moscow time). The epicenter of the earthquake was located 95 kilometers southeast of Almaty in the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The earthquake focus was located at a depth of 5 kilometers.
No casualties or destruction were reported.
