COVID-19: Cost of turning Gansi center into hospital greatly overestimated
Officials of Asker Kurulush state enterprise embezzled budget funds allocated to fight coronavirus. The Military Prosecutor’s Office of Kyrgzystan reports.
The state-owned enterprise was turning the former Gansi transit center into observation unit for hospitalization of patients.
«Officials of Asker Kurulush and some construction organizations affiliated with them unjustifiably overestimated the volume of work performed and prices for the materials and equipment used. The documents indicate the same types of work performed by various subcontractors. The state suffered damage in the amount of over 2.5 million soms. Pre-trial proceedings have been started on this fact,» the Military Prosecutor’s Office said.
