Avalanche descends on Bishkek - Osh road
An avalanche descended on Bishkek — Osh road. The Ministry of Transport, Architecture, Construction and Communications of Kyrgyzstan reported.
It happened at the 231st kilometer of the road at 6.30 am, the volume of the avalanche reached 2,400 cubic meters, the length — 100 meters.
«Employees of Road Maintenance Facility No. 23 opened one lane of the road at this section at 8.40. The passage is open. Special equipment is working to widen the site and ensure passage of vehicles in two lanes,» the ministry said.
