Active member of Hizb ut-Tahrir wanted in Bishkek
Criminal police officers of the Leninsky District Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek are searching for an active member of the banned extremist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir.
According to materials of the criminal case, the native of Batken region, 33, recently lived in Archa-Beshik housing estate. In the fall of 2020, a criminal case was opened against him under the Article «Production, distribution of extremist materials» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At present, according to the data of the fighters against extremism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the number of Kyrgyzstanis involved in the extremist organization exceeds 1,500 people.
