EAEU central banks forecast reduction of inflation risks in 2021
Forecasts of central (national) banks indicate a reduction in inflationary risks during 2021. The Eurasian Development Bank provides such data.
Inflation will reach 4.4 percent by the end of 2021 in Armenia. At the same time, it is expected that prices will rise by 5 percent in Belarus, in Kazakhstan — by 4-6 percent, while the inflation target will remain the same.
«At the same time, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan expects peak rate of inflation in the first quarter of this year. According to the forecast of the Central Bank of Russia, annual inflation is expected to be 3.7-4.2 percent, reaching a peak in February-March 2021,» the statement says.
