352 people turn to infectious diseases hospital for 24 hours
An outbreak of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) is observed in Bishkek. Over the past day, 352 people have turned to the Republican Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital with ARVI. The Head Physician of the hospital Gulzhigit Aaliev told 24.kg news agency.
According to him, 40 people out of 75 hospitalized have ARVI, they are mostly children. «Everyone is in the wards. Extra beds have been prepared. We have no problems with medicines,» Gulzhigit Aaliev noted.
Number of doctors in the hospital’s admission department was increased thanks to internal reserves, and staff physicians were also attracted. He added that three patients with food poisoning and one — with botulism were undergoing treatment in the hospital.
