Border conflict: One victim still in hospital
One victim of the conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border is still at the Bishkek Scientific Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics. Representatives of the center told 24.kg news agency.
The soldier had a gunshot wound. He was operated on; a bullet was removed from his body.
«Condition of the victim is relatively satisfactory. He receives treatment,» the center said.
Press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan added that all the victims, who underwent treatment in the Batken Regional Combined Hospital, have been discharged.
Recall, a conflict occurred between citizens of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on December 18, 2019 in Kok-Tash village, Batken district. As a result of the clashes, six victims were taken to the Batken Regional Combined Hospital, two of them (a serviceman and a civilian) — with gunshot wounds.
