Student exhibition about environmental issues opens in Bishkek
The Gapar Aitiev Museum of Fine Arts hosts an exhibition «Role of Fine Arts in Promotion of Sustainable Development Goals in Kyrgyzstan.»
At least 28 young artists, sculptors, designers and architects from various universities of the capital participated in the competition. Each participant considered the topic from the perspective of accumulated experience, knowledge and views. Students prepared works on the topics of environmental protection and environmental pollution under the slogan «Responsible consumption: young artist’s view.»
The purpose of the exhibition is to awaken society through art and through the work of artists to give young people and residents of the city an opportunity to reconsider the role of man in preserving ecology and nature.
The exhibition is open until January 14, 2020.
