Achyk Sayasat newspaper has to pay 300,000 soms to deputy Kozhobek Ryspaev
The Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan ordered to recover 300,000 soms from the opposition newspaper Achyk Sayasat on the lawsuit of a deputy of the Parliament Kozhobek Ryspaev. Civic activist Adil Turdukulov posted on Facebook.
The parliament deputy sued the newspaper, where an article entitled «Ryspaevdi itten chygyryp koyushtu» («Ryspaev was led outside ...») was published. It says that the deputy moves from one party to another, the author calls him a «chameleon.» The Oktyabrsky District Court recovered 300,000 soms from the newspaper in favor of the deputy, the Bishkek City Court upheld the decision.
