Illegal fireworks factory explodes in China, victims reported
An explosion occurred at a fireworks factory in central China’s Hunan province. Seven people were killed and 13 were injured. Xinhua news agency reports.
The explosion occurred at a factory in Liuyang, where explosive products were illegally produced. All the wounded were hospitalized.
The scene of the incident has been closed, and the company’s management was taken to the local police station. An investigation is ongoing.
