Some districts of Bishkek to have no water on October 8
Cold water supply will be suspended in some areas of Bishkek tomorrow, on October 8. Press service of the Bishkek City Administration reported.
Drinking water will be cut off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the area bounded by Mikhail Frunze, Turusbekov, Bayalinov, Abdrakhmanov Streets and Manas, Zhibek Zholu Avenues due to repair and maintenance work at Belinsky water intake.
The following educational institutions will also have no water:
- Kindergartens No. 28, 57, 75;
- Schools No. 27, 75, 33;
Private kindergartens: Junior Land, Krepysh, Antoshka, Antoshka Plus, Aikol.
Bishkek schools and kindergartens, which will have no water, will not work on this day. All medical centers and maternity hospitals will receive citizens in normal mode, water supplies have been prepared for emergency cases.
Bishkekvodokanal apologizes for the inconvenience and asks citizens, institutions and organizations to stock up on drinking water.
