Taekwondo athletes from Kyrgyzstan win 9 medals at championship in Kazakhstan
Kyrgyzstanis won 9 medals at the ITF Kazakhstan Taekwondo Open Championship. The national team informed 24.kg news agency.
Competitions were held in Astana with participation of 200 athletes from Kazakhstan, Russia and the Kyrgyz Republic. The team of the Children and Youth Sports School 2 of Alamedin district headed by the coach Sergei Faustov and mentor Karlygash Fatkulina represented Kyrgyzstan. It won 3 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals.
Azizbek Duishenbekov, Karim Ibragimov and Kirill Drozdenko took first places in their categories. The second were Esentur Tekebayev and Ainazik Abduzhabbirova, the third — Alim Emirov and Ilim Tazhibayev. Imran Mikhmanov took 2 places — the second and the third.
