Road construction in Kyrgyzstan dragged out due to lack of bitumen
Deputy of the Parliament, Emil Toktoshev, announced today at a parliament meeting that there was a lack of bitumen in Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, the construction of roads is delayed due to it.
«Tender was announced in March. Results were announced in May. The winning company could not deliver the material. And other suppliers refused, as bitumen is a seasonal product and its price has increased,» said Emil Toktoshev.
He added that the corruption scheme was clearly visible in the supply of bitumen.
