MP offers to introduce post of business ombudsman in Kyrgyzstan
Deputy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Aitmamat Nazarov proposes to introduce post of a business ombudsman in Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, a lot of disputes arise precisely between the business and the state, therefore, a specialist who will protect the interests of entrepreneurs is needed in the structure of the institute of ombudsman.
«The arbitration court is not working. But the business community itself can not defend their rights,» Aitmamat Nazarov told.
Ombudsman Tokon Mamytov agreed with the proposal, but recalled that the Constitution did not provide for a business ombudsman. Representatives of the ombudsman’s office added that an appropriate document that would expand the powers of the head of the institute of ombudsman should be developed in order he can also provide legal assistance to businessmen.
