Dashboard cameras installed in Bishkek buses
Dashboard cameras are installed in Bishkek buses. Bakyt Temikeev, Director of the Bishkek Passenger Motor Transport Enterprise, informed at a meeting in the Bishkek City Administration.
According to him, the equipment is installed as a pilot project in 50 buses.
The mayor of the capital, Aziz Surakmatov, noted that video cameras should be installed also in the minibuses. According to him, the townspeople appealed with such a request.
«Groups of people that steal work in the public transport. It is necessary to install cameras, which will record everything on road, and inside. They cost 1,000 — 1,500 soms. Information from them should be stored in the Municipal Transport Department,» he said.
