Single public transport control service planned to be created in Bishkek
Centralized public transport control service is planned to be created in Bishkek. Vice Mayor of the city Maxim Sitnikov informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, in the future, it is planned to introduce an e-ticketing system and install GPS trackers in the municipal transport.
«Currently, there are as a rule two control points where drivers register departures. If there is a central control room, such points will not be needed,» he noted.
The vice mayor informed that the system would help to track transport on GPS trackers, regulate the interval of movement, and coordinate.
