Education and culture spheres not ready for heating season
Institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Culture are not ready for the heating season. This was reported at a meeting of the republican headquarters on preparation for the autumn-winter period.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov instructed to check and accelerate the delivery of coal to social institutions.
«As we can see, medical, educational and cultural institutions are not yet provided with the necessary amount of coal. Their readiness is 70-80 percent,» said Kubatbek Boronov.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science representative, they are 76 percent ready for winter.
«We have a total of 2,262 institutions. We provide only 46 organizations with coal. Coal to them was delivered for 15 million soms. The rest of the coal should be bought by local authorities,» a ministry spokesperson said.
