Border guards seized contraband goods for 27 million soms in Kyrgyzstan in 2018. The Chairman of the Border Service Ularbek Sharsheyev told at a press conference.
According to him, since the beginning of 2018, the situation on the state border is relatively stable, but with elements of tension.
«The border guards detained 149 violators of the state border, 257 violators of the state border regime and 28 violators of the frontier regime. In the course of reconnaissance and search activities, 17 firearms, 178 units of ammunition and four weapon parts have been confiscated,» Ularbek Sarsheyev said.
