Bishkek HPP ready to start heating season within 3 days
Bishkek Heating and Power Plant is ready to start the heating season within three days in case of a sudden change in weather conditions. The press service of the National Energy Holding reported.
According to the forecast of the Hydrometeorology Agency under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, in October, the average monthly air temperature in the republic is expected to be from +5 to +14 degrees. During the month, air temperature can drop to −1 degrees, frosts are possible in the foothill areas.
From a technical point of view, Bishkek HPP and Bishkekteploset OJSC are ready for the heating season. In case of abrupt changes in weather conditions, the power system can start the heat supply within three days.
According to the latest information of the Bishkek City Administration, if the air temperature in the capital does not rise, then the meeting of the operational headquarters on the heating season issue will be held on October 17.
