Illegal parking lot dismantled in Bishkek
Bishkek City Administration returned 10 acres of land to municipal property. Its press service reported.
The Department of Land Use and Construction dismantled a parking lot, which hindered the construction of a bicycle path and sidewalk on the South highway.
«The municipal territory with a total area of 10 acres was illegally fenced. The shed and fence near house 97/4 at the intersection of Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue and the South highway have been dismantled,» the city administration noted.
The Bishkek City Administration decided to create a pedestrian street along the South highway. Lighting, benches and litter bins will be installed there. Two pedestrian bridges will be erected over Ala-Archa river. A bicycle path with a length of 1.5 km will be also laid there.
