Great Britain hosts Aitmatov readings
Stratford-upon-Avon town in the United Kingdom hosted Aitmatov readings, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the writer. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Actors from Kyrgyzstan and the UK showed an excerpt from the play Mother’s Field, representatives of the Shakespeare Foundation read lines from William Shakespeare; Alymkul Isakov performed an excerpt from the play Richard III in Kyrgyz in William Shakespeare’s little homeland, which caused delight of the British public.
