Chairman of Board of Directors of BTA Bank placed in detention center
Temir Ryskulov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BTA Bank CJSC, was placed in pretrial detention center 1. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed 24.kg news agency.
The decision on the measure of restraint was taken by the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek.
"Temir Ryskulov was detained and placed in detention center 1 in the framework of the previously initiated criminal case on the cottage estate Ideal House. The investigation of the case is coming to an end; it will be sent to court in the near future. A number of individuals were detained as part of the investigation, including the ex-head of the board of directors of BTA Bank, the Interior Ministry reported.
Recall, Elnura Alkanova conducted a journalistic investigation, in which she tried to find out who got the cottages of Maxim Bakiyev and who was behind a scandalous deal, which, according to MPs, caused damage to the state in the amount of at least $ 10 million.
According to the journalist, Temir Ryskulov is a real buyer of the cottages.
