New head of Bishkek City Council Zhanybek Abirov refuses salary
Newly elected speaker of the Bishkek City Council, Zhanybek Abirov, refused his salary. He told journalists today.
According to him, being a deputy of the city council, he worked without salary.
«Having become its chairman, I intend to work on a voluntary basis, without salary. The money I will get I will send as donations to the social facilities of Bishkek,» said Zhanybek Abirov.
However, Zhanybek Abirov is not aware of the size of his salary so far and how much money he will transfer to social objects monthly.
