Sooronbai Jeenbekov to speak at 73rd session of UN General Assembly
The President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov will take part in the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly as part of his first trip to the United States. The head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President, Daniyar Sydykov, told at a press conference.
According to him, the speech of the head of state is planned at the general debate of the General Assembly.
«Our goal is to demonstrate a stable position and commitment to the democratic values of the country, inform about regional and international problems and strengthen the role of Kyrgyzstan on the UN platform,» said Daniyar Sydykov.
In New York, Sooronbai Jeenbekov will also take part in a photo exhibition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Chingiz Aitmatov.
