Kyrgyzstan intends to legitimize volunteering activities
It is planned to legitimize volunteering activities in Kyrgyzstan. The State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture and Sports under the Government submitted a draft resolution on volunteering activities for public discussion.
It is noted that the document establishes the legal basis for volunteering, defines the goals, tasks, types, forms and order of this activity, as well as measures of state support.
«At the present stage of development, society and the state are increasingly aware of the need for such activities. Volunteering is a space for socialization, development of professional competencies for the young people. At the same time, the legal basis for volunteering has not been established,» background statement says.
