Mayor of Bishkek suggests to eliminate superfluous structures
The mayor of Bishkek Aziz Surakmatov proposed to liquidate the City Administration’s Revenue Department. He stated this at a board meeting of the City Administration after the report of its head, Satarbek Zhaichibekov.
According to the mayor, a lot of funds are subsidized from the budget for the activities of the services — about 3 billion soms.
The mayor said that it was necessary to work on reducing these subsidies and increasing the revenue side of the budget.
