Woman sentenced to 12 years in prison for attempted murder of daughter in Osh
Osh City Court sentenced a 26-year-old woman to 12 years in prison for an attempt to kill her own daughter.
The verdict of the court states that the woman lived in a private kindergarten and tried to strangle the child with a pillow.
The defendant pleaded guilty during the trial. She told that her parents did not accept her after the divorce, she had nowhere to go. Being in a depressed state, she beat her daughter, then decided to strangle her and commit suicide.
The guards of the kindergarten rescued the girl. They ran into the room and snatched the child out of the mother’s arms.
