Uzbekistan to host first World Kok-Boru Championship
Uzbekistan will host the first World Championship in kok-boru in 2019. Kok-boru Federation of Kyrgyzstan posted on Istagram.
It is noted that the decision was made in the course of negotiations between the leadership of the Kok-boru Federation of Kyrgyzstan and representatives of the Ministry of Sports of Uzbekistan in Issyk-Kul region.
Recall, the national team of Kyrgyzstan took the 1st place at kok-boru tournament within the 3rd World Nomad Games. The team of Uzbekistan took the second place, Kazakhstan — the third.
