Money saved on Toktogul HPS repair to be spent on Uch-Kurgan HPS
The First Vice Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov discussed with the Director of the Resident Mission of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Kyrgyzstan Candice McDeigan the rehabilitation project of Uch-Kurgan HPS.
Up to date, ADB finances four major projects in the energy sector for $ 320 million. The most important of these projects is a project on rehabilitation of Toktogul HPS. About $ 100 million have been saved within the second and the third phase of the reconstruction of the station.
"Specialists of the energy sector suggest sending these funds for the rehabilitation of Uch-Kurgan HPS," Kubatbek Boronov said.
Candice McDeigan noted that the Asian Development Bank was ready to assist in the implementation of Uch-Kurgan HPS rehabilitation project.
