Kyrgyzstanis again call Customs Service most corrupt state agency
Kyrgyzstanis for the second year in a row called the State Customs Service the most corrupt state agency. The Population Confidence Index published by the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan says.
The population confidence index was estimated in points — from −100 to +100. The higher is the score, the higher is the confidence. Respondents were asked three questions: «How much do you trust a certain state body?», «How do you assess the level of corruption in it?» and «How do you generally assess its activities?»
In addition, the State Service for Punishment Execution (-11.2 points), the Ministry of Health (-9.9 points) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (8 points) turned out to be among the most corrupt state agencies. The State Service for Combating Economic Crimes (0.2 points) and the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Communal Services (0.5 points) have the rates that are slightly above zero.
At the same time, according to Kyrgyzstanis, the State Agency for Youth Affairs (39 points), the local state administrations (37.9 points), the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications (37 points), the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism (33.6 points), the offices of the plenipotentiary representatives of the government in the regions (33.1 points) and the State Agency for Local Self-Government Affairs (32.1 points) are the least corrupt.
