First mountain bicycle race Silk Road to take place in Kyrgyzstan
The first mountain bicycle race Silk Road will take place in Kyrgyzstan. The Director of the Department of Tourism Azamat Zhamankulov told today at a press conference.
According to him, the start is scheduled for August 18. The competition will last until September 1.
«At least 95 sportsmen from 26 countries will participate in the race. Athletes from Kazakhstan, Holland, Ireland, Finland, France, Norway, Switzerland, South Africa, Austria, Germany and India will be among them. Only one girl decided to represent Kyrgyzstan at the race, but registration of participants continues,» Azamat Zhamankulov told.
