Obtaining of Russian citizenship to be facilitated
The government commission on legislative activity approved amendments to the law providing for simplification of the procedure for obtaining Russian citizenship. Izvestia newspaper reported with reference to own source.
It is also noted that the participants of the state program for the promotion of voluntary resettlement of compatriots will have the right to apply for citizenship only on the basis of a temporary residence permit or permanent resident card.
Earlier, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin instructed to simplify the granting of residence permits to the foreigners, who speak Russian.
