Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan agree on 2 disputable border sections
One more round of negotiations between the working groups of government delegations of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on the delimitation and demarcation of the state border took place in Osh city. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reported.
The sides considered the results of the joint field surveys conducted on the sites, located in Namangan and Fergana regions of Uzbekistan, adjacent to Batken and Jalal-Abad regions of Kyrgyzstan.
«Based on the results of the joint field surveys, the border line at two sections, including Gava and partially Gavasai, was determined. A protocol was signed on the results of the talks,» the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Uzbekistan noted.
