Criminal case on Osh market fire sent to court
The criminal case, initiated against the director of Bereket market, located on Osh market in Bishkek, was sent to court. The Deputy Head of the Investigation Service of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek Cholponbai Satybaldiev told at a press conference.
According to him, the Leninsky District Court will consider the case.
The third since the beginning of the year fire broke out in Osh market on April 13. The total area of the fire reached 5,412 square meters. Retailers repeatedly held rallies demanding to restore their jobs and compensate for the damage. The Bishkek City Administration paid to the victims 10,000 soms each. The director of Bereket market and the employee responsible for fire safety were placed under house arrest.
