Collegium of Internal Affairs Ministry: Police should work more effectively
For the first half of the year, 14,339 incidents and crimes were registered by the internal affairs agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic, 12,830 criminal cases were instituted, 8,896 criminal cases were sent to court. Such results were announced at the meeting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that 10,661 crimes have been solved during the investigation of criminal cases of the past years and for the current period.
«The reform of the internal affairs bodies is carried out with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of the work of the police. It is our duty to develop and strengthen the created six independent services, to carry out further necessary work. At present, there is a need to change the form, structure, direction of activity, to increase and expand services in the regions by working directly with the population,» said Kashkar Dzhunushaliev.
