Since early 2018, no facts of illegal import of poultry meat to Kyrgyzstan have been detected. Gulsara Ismailova, Deputy Head of the Border Control Department of the State Border Service told today at a round table discussion.
According to her, after the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union, border and veterinary control remained on the borders. Border guards keep records of the goods. In the absence of accompanying invoices, the information is sent to mobile groups.
«For six months, not a single fact of poultry meat and eggs detention was registered. There were 20 cases of smuggling of other goods — fuels and lubricants, dried fruits in the southern region,» said Gulsara Ismailova.
