Restoration of Chingiz Aitmatov Memorial to begin in late July
Restoration of the monument to Chingiz Aitmatov on the territory of Ata-Beyit historical memorial complex will begin in late July. The press service of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Utilities reported.
The complex was included in the list of objects for construction and reconstruction, financed from the republican budget for 2018. Works include the replacement of two marble walls, benches, partial replacement of granite steps and the fence at the burial place.
In addition, the adjacent territory of the monument to the repressed in 1937-1938 will also be repaired.
