Euro rises in price for a week in Kyrgyzstan
For a week, the euro in Kyrgyzstan has risen in price, but the U.S. dollar began to fall.
Last week, the selling rate of euro fell below 80 soms for the first time in the last year. However, over the week the European currency won back its positions: the capital’s exchange offices and commercial banks buy euros for 79.2-79.7 soms, and sell — for 80-80.2. The nominal rate is set at 79,484 soms (the growth per day is 0.02 percent).
But the U.S. dollar, on the contrary, began to drop. It is bought for 68-68.1 and sold for 68.2-68.3 soms. Since the last week, the U.S. currency has become cheaper by 20-30 tyiyns. The nominal rate is set at 68,0992 soms (0.1 percent drop for a day).
The exchange rate of the Russian ruble remains low: 1.07-1.09 soms. The Kazakh tenge costs 0.19-0,201 soms.
