Blogger Murat Tungishbaev extradited to Kazakhstan
The Kazakhstani activist and blogger Murat Tungishbaev was handed over to the law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan. The press service of the State Committee for National Security informed journalists.
Recall, Murat Tungishbaev was to be extradited due to the decision of the Oktyabrsky District Court. The State Penitentiary Service reported earlier that this procedure could take about a month. However, yesterday morning, the bloggers’ lawyers reported that he disappeared from the pretrial detention center 1, and they could not find him.
It turned out that the staff of the SCNS had handed over Murat Tungishbaev to the authorities of Kazakhstan on June 26.
