EEU to introduce transit of pensions when moving from one country to another
Expert from Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Asanbaev believes that trade unions should be involved in the protection of the rights of the migrants. He stated this at the international expert forum «Freedom of movement of labor force in EEU as a space for new opportunities,» which was held in Orenburg (Russia).
According to him, it is time for trade unions to overcome parochialism and move away from the still widespread rhetoric about the protection of national labor markets, since with the creation of the Eurasian Economic Union a single one is formed, where all employees, irrespective of citizenship and country of origin, should have equal rights, guarantees and protection from professional associations.
It was announced that in the future, the transit of pensions when moving from one country to another will be introduced in EEU along with simplification of migration registration procedure.
In the future, it is planned to create an Eurasian electronic labor exchange, an agreement on which is already being worked out.
