SCNS detects damage to state for 1.6 billion soms since beginning of year
Since early 2018, the detected damage to the state on the initiated criminal cases has been estimated at 1,669.7 billion soms. The State Committee for National Security reported.
According to its data, illegal withdrawal and theft of budget funds amounted to 1,150,545 billion soms. This is the criminal case on illegal refunding of VAT. At least 95,478 million soms of the sum were returned to the state budget. The detected damage in other criminal cases was 519,219.9 million soms.
«As a part of the implementation of the decision of the Security Council, the SCNS conducts an inventory of discontinued and suspended criminal cases on misdemeanors and crimes in the economic sphere. Work is underway to reduce the facts of the suspension and termination of criminal cases and the unreasonable delay in the investigation period, as well as study and analysis of suspended criminal cases for the presence of judicial perspective and their further renewal and making a final procedural decision is carried out,» SCNS comments.
