Prisoners of penal colony 27 in Moldovanovka stop hunger strike
Prisoners of the penal colony 27, located in Moldovanovka village, stopped the hunger strike. The State Penitentiary Service informed 24.kg news agency.
The convicts gave up all the demands.
«In total, 54 people went on hunger strike. On June 11, six inmates began to eat. The same night, the rest gave up the protest. All the convicts take food now. After the awareness-rising work, the prisoners renounced their demands,» the press service of the State Penitentiary Service noted.
Recall, on June 5, about 70 convicts, accused of extremism and terrorism, went on a hunger strike. Prisoners demanded to change the conditions of their detention.
