The fight against terrorism requires special attention. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin announced the day before at a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
According to him, the fight against terrorism remains the priority direction of the organization. «The programs adopted set benchmarks for cooperation for three years, conducting of exercises and counter-terrorist operations. The situation in Afghanistan demands special attention. Serious results were achieved in Syria not without the help of the partners, including Kazakhstan,» Vladimir Putin said.
He added that the US withdrawal from a nuclear deal with Iran might destabilize the situation.
