About 56 suicide attempts committed in Osh since beginning of 2018
A 38-year-old woman tried to commit suicide taking a large number of different pills in Amir Temur microdistrict of Osh city. The Internal Affairs Department for the southern capital informed 24.kg news agency.
The woman was hospitalized in a serious condition. Her relatives called the ambulance.
«The reasons are being clarified. Operative and investigative measures are being carried out,» the Internal Affairs Department told.
The department noted that since early 2018, at least 40 suicides and 56 suicide attempts through poisoning have been committed in Osh.
