Kyrgyz servicemen to participate in SCO Peace Mission exercises
More than 3,000 servicemen and more than 500 units of military equipment will be involved in joint antiterrorist exercises of the SCO countries Peace Mission 2018. They will be held in August in Chelyabinsk Oblast. The press service of the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
«The military delegations reached agreements on military exercises between India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in the course of the third headquarters talks near Chelyabinsk,» the press service said.
Representatives of the military departments of SCO countries conducted reconnoitering of the areas of the forthcoming maneuvers. The parties got acquainted with the training sites and the places of deployment of the national military forces.
Peace Mission exercises are held in the territory of the SCO countries every two years. In 2016, they took place in Kyrgyzstan.
