30 kg of marijuana found at boating station on Issyk-Kul lake
A large batch of drugs was found at the boating station of Goluboi Issyk-Kul health resort in Cholpon-Ata. The press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate for Issyk-Kul region reported.
The police received information about a large batch of drugs stored at the boating station. A bag with 30 kilograms of marijuana was found during a check. It turned out that it belonged to 35-year-old local resident.
Criminal case was opened on the fact.
The detainee was placed in pretrial detention center of Internal Affairs Department for Issyk-Kul region. An investigation is under way.
