International reserves of Kyrgyzstan continue to decline
The gross international reserves of Kyrgyzstan are declining for the fourth month in a row. The official website of the National Bank reported.
According to the results of April, the reserves amounted to $ 2,192.98 billion. Over the month, they reduced by $ 20.25 million. Compared to January 2018, the indicator decreased by $ 27.46 million.
The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan uses the international reserves to smooth out the sharp fluctuations in the dollar exchange rate. With their help, it intervenes by purchasing the currency. In April, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic entered the currency market once and sold $ 8,150,000.
