Sooronbai Jeenbekov tells about achievements of banking sector in Kyrgyzstan
The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov congratulated the workers of the banking sector of Kyrgyzstan on their professional holiday. The press service of the head of state reported.
«This year the country celebrates the 25th anniversary of the introduction of the national currency — som. Over the past quarter century, som has become not only the main instrument of independent monetary policy, but also a symbol of independence of a sovereign state,» the message says.
«Today, the banking sector makes a significant contribution to social and economic development, providing banking services and financing projects in priority sectors of the economy. Thanks to the work of bank employees, it became possible to achieve financial stability, security of the banking and payment systems. I am confident that your professionalism, experience and knowledge will serve to further develop the potential of the country’s banking system,» the president said.
Sooronbai Jeenbekov wished the employees of the banking sector good health, prosperity and fruitful work for the benefit of Kyrgyzstan’s prosperity.
