Government not to allow earning money on land transformation
The Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev held a meeting today to discuss the draft laws on the transformation of irrigated arable lands into other categories and types of land. The Public Relations and Media Department of the Government reported.
«The land transformation issue remains unresolved for 25-30 years. Over the years, citizens, who built houses on agricultural land, accumulated a huge number of social and domestic problems. They can not legalize property, get registration at the place of residence. As a result, they have difficulties in sending their children to kindergartens and schools, with social and medical assistance. They are even deprived of the constitutional right — to participate in elections,» said Mukhammedkaly Abylgaziev.
According to him, it is necessary to pay attention to corruption risks when transforming the land.
Law enforcement agencies should check the procedure for the registration of agricultural land, the Prime Minister noted.
