Teachers, directors to be fired for collection of money for graduate proms
The Ministry of Education and Science has set the dates of graduation events at the schools of the republic.
Celebrations on the occasion of the delivery of certificates of secondary general education to graduates of the 9th grades will be held on June 20 at 10.00 am.
Graduates of the 11th grades will receive certificates of basic general education on June 23 at 10.00 am.
The events should take place only on the territory of schools. It is forbidden to organize them outdoors or in entertainment establishments.
«School principals were instructed to hold parent meetings to limit the parental material and monetary costs for the celebrations. According to the order, teachers, head teachers and directors will be held responsible up to dismissal for the illegal collection of money,» the press service of the ministry stressed.
